The Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Computer Science (Cyber Security) with a Specialism in Digital Forensics is designed to equip students with advanced technical knowledge and practical skills in cyber security, cybercrime investigation, digital evidence analysis, forensic computing, incident response, and secure systems development. The programme combines core computer science principles with specialised digital forensics techniques to prepare graduates for careers in cyber defence, law enforcement, government agencies, financial institutions, and multinational technology companies.
Students develop expertise in forensic investigation methodologies, cyber incident response, advanced forensic analysis, ethical hacking, digital evidence recovery, malware investigation, and cyber security governance. Learning is supported through cyber security laboratories, Capture the Flag (CTF) competitions, forensic investigation exercises, industry projects, research activities, and a compulsory 16-week Industrial Internship.
