Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Industrial Design
The Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Industrial Design is designed to prepare students for careers in product innovation, industrial design, sustainable design, transportation design, and furniture design. The programme combines creativity, engineering concepts, user-centred design, manufacturing knowledge, and digital technologies to develop innovative products that improve everyday life.
Students learn the complete design process, from concept development and sketching to prototyping, manufacturing, and commercialisation. The curriculum emphasises practical learning through studio projects, model making, CAD software, digital fabrication, and collaboration with industry. APU's membership in the World Design Organization (WDO) gives students valuable exposure to global design standards and professional networks. Eligible students may also graduate under the APU-DMU Dual Degree Scheme.
