Visa Requirements for International Students
International students enrolled in the on-campus programme must obtain a Malaysia Student Pass before commencing their studies.

Latest Updates / Special Requirements
- APU offers monthly PhD intakes from August to December 2026, with an additional July intake available for some study modes.
- The ODL PhD in Technology enables remote research with supervision conducted through Microsoft Teams and Moodle.
- Publication of at least one indexed journal article is a compulsory graduation requirement for the PhD in Technology.
- Research proposals should ideally be developed in consultation with a prospective academic supervisor before admission.
