Visa Requirements for International Students

International students are generally required to:

  1. Receive an official Offer Letter from APU.
  2. Accept the admission offer and pay the required initial fees.
  3. Apply for a Malaysian Student Pass through Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS) with APU's assistance.
  4. Submit passport copies, academic transcripts, English language test results, passport-sized photographs, and other supporting documents.
  5. Complete the required medical examination before or after arrival in Malaysia.
  6. Obtain a valid Student Pass before commencing studies.


Latest Updates (2026)

  • Full-time intakes: 3 August and 30 November 2026.
  • ODL part-time intakes: 21 August and 30 October 2026.
  • The programme features an updated curriculum covering AI-driven learning resources, learning analytics, and digital learning environments.
