Bachelor of Business (BBus)

The AIS Bachelor of Business (BBus) programme is designed to enable students to become problem-solving professionals who can adapt to a fast-changing world and make a meaningful contribution to society, locally and internationally.

The Bachelor of Business (BBus) is a contemporary programme of study for students who wish to pursue a career in business across a diverse range of industries. Graduates of the BBus will be well-equipped to meet demand for their capabilities and address the needs of employers, including those in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors. In addition, graduates will have acquired both general and specialist knowledge in business, experience in applying that knowledge, and transferrable skills.

The Bachelor of Business consists of 360 credits, of which a minimum of 75 credits at level 7 is required. Study pathways in Accounting, Marketing, Facilities Management, Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Tourism and Hospitality Management, and Healthcare Management are available, with a suite of courses recommended for each pathway.

The BBus is accredited by CPA Australia and Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ). With careful selection of your electives, you can satisfy the academic requirements for admission to CAANZ and CPA Australia membership, a big step toward becoming a professionally qualified accountant.
