Scholarship

1. International Scholarship

  • Value: Up to NZD $4,000

  • Eligibility:

    • Available to students from specific regions, including South Asia.

    • Applicable to Foundation or Diploma programmes (excluding the Certificate of Attainment in Foundation Studies Accelerated).

    • Limited bursaries available per trimester intake.

    • Only available to students who have paid their tuition fees until the quota is filled.

  • Application Process:

    • No application required.

    • Scholarship offers are issued to eligible students within 14 days of their Offer of Place.

  • Note: Scholarships are dependent on your home country and programme choice.

2. Academic English Bursary

  • Value: 10% tuition fee bursary for up to 2 levels of the Certificate of Attainment in Academic English (CAAE), equivalent to a maximum of 20 weeks of study.

  • Eligibility:

    • Students progressing to a pre-degree programme provided by the University of Waikato College.

  • Application Process:

3. University of Waikato College International Pathway Scholarship

  • Value: NZD $2,500 towards tuition fees.

  • Eligibility:

    • International fee-paying students with an Offer of Place within eligible programmes of study offered by the College.

  • Application Process:

    • No application required.

    • Scholarship offers are issued to eligible students within 8 weeks of the start of their College papers.

  • Note: The award is applied in New Zealand dollars to tuition fees only and is not transferrable.
