New Zealand College of Chinese Medicine

Established in 2003, NZCCM is a Category 2 Private Tertiary Education Provider accredited by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA). Located in Greenlane, Auckland, the college specializes in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Acupuncture, and Massage therapies, offering both undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

Scholarship

NZCCM offers a variety of scholarships to support international students pursuing qualifications in Traditional Chinese Medicine and related fields. These scholarships aim to recognize academic excellence and help students financially.

1. English Language Proficiency Scholarships

  • Level 1: IELTS score of 6.5 – Scholarship value: NZD $1,000

  • Level 2: IELTS score of 7.0 or above – Scholarship value: NZD $2,000

These scholarships are applicable to international students who meet the specified IELTS requirements.

2. NZ Secondary School Graduate Scholarship

International students who have completed NCEA Level 3 with Merit endorsement (or an equivalent qualification) from New Zealand secondary schools are eligible for a scholarship valued at NZD $1,000.

3. Performance Scholarships for Current Students

  • A Grade Scholarship: Awarded to students who achieve an A grade or higher in every course in their full-time study over the past year. Value: NZD $2,000.

  • A- Grade Scholarship: Awarded to students who achieve an A grade or higher in at least six courses but achieve an A- grade in no more than two courses over the past year. Value: NZD $1,000.

These scholarships are available to students enrolled in the Bachelor of Health Science program.

4. Final Year Clinical Scholarship

Final-year students who achieve "Highly Competent" in their clinical practice and maintain an A grade or better in every course in their full-time study over the past year are eligible.

  • The scholarship includes one return economy class air ticket to China.

  • Tuition fees for a two-week internship in China.

This provides students with practical experience in Traditional Chinese Medicine.

 

Tuition Fees for International Students (2026)

  • NZ Diploma in Remedial Massage (Level 6): Tuition fee is NZD $19,400, with course-related costs of approximately NZD $500 for 120 credits.

  • NZ Diploma in Wellness and Relaxation Massage (Level 5): Tuition fee is NZD $17,330, with course-related costs of NZD $500 for 120 credits.

  • NZ Certificate in English Language (Level 4): Tuition fee is NZD $7,603, with course-related costs of NZD $250 over 20 weeks.

  • NZ Certificate in English Language (Level 5): Tuition fee is NZD $7,845, with course-related costs of NZD $250 over 20 weeks.
