  • Applicable To: Students enrolling in Levels 4, 5 or 6 culinary and hospitality programmes (such as Certificate in Cookery, Diploma in Cookery (Advanced), Diploma in Hospitality & Culinary Management).

  • Intend to enrol in a Level 4, 5, or 6 programme at The Culinary Collective

Important Notes About Scholarships

  • Not all applicants receive the full 25% tuition reduction. The actual award is determined by the recruitment team based on your personal statement or interview.
  • Scholarships must typically be accepted before you apply for your New Zealand student visa, since they affect your offer letter and tuition fee amount.
  • Scholarship offers are subject to change, and it’s a good idea to contact The Culinary Collective’s international admissions team for the most up?to?date details.

Other Scholarship Opportunities (External)

While The Culinary Collective itself mainly offers the General Scholarship (up to 25%), you may also be eligible for additional external scholarships available to international students studying in New Zealand, such as:

New Zealand Government Scholarships

  • Prime Minister’s Scholarships for Asia & Latin America:
In past years selected TCC students were supported to participate in international culinary study tours under this government programme — covering travel, living costs, and tuition for specific overseas study components.

  • These are government?funded and administered by Education New Zealand and may not be provided directly through TCC.

Other International Scholarships

  • Home?country scholarships: Many governments and institutions worldwide offer support to students studying abroad.

  • Industry and foundation awards: Scholarships for hospitality or culinary students from private or nonprofit organisations.

  • Contact the Admissions Team – They can give detailed, up?to?date information on current scholarship availability and deadlines.
