Wairarapa College
Wairarapa College is a state co-educational school in Masterton which blends tradition with innovation as it seeks to develop the full potential of each student.
The college first opened in 1938, following the merger of Wairarapa High School with the Masterton Technical School.
Wairarapa College has always and will always be a people-centered learning environment. We have a proud history of serving the Wairarapa as its largest community school. Our vision of wisdom and courage emphasises well-being, effective teaching practice and fostering strong connections with the Wairarapa community.

NCEA is New Zealand's National Certificate of Educational Achievement NCEA is a flexible and internationally well-recognized qualification, consisting of both internal assessments and external assessments to cater for different learning styles. Students sitting NCEA are assessed throughout the year with assignments, practical assessments, presentations, examinations, and project work.
