Rangiora High School

Rangiora High School is a decile 9 co-educational secondary school with a proud tradition of providing the families of North Canterbury with quality education since 1884.

We are proud to be a dynamic, caring, community-based environment inspiring life-long learning. Students are at the centre of our work. We are committed to ensuring every student has a meaningful and relevant learning journey and that they experience success and gain achievement.

Our campus has a pleasant rural outlook on the edge of Rangiora, adjacent to our own school farm and just 30 minutes from the city of Christchurch.

Our vision is to create inclusive, equitable and relevant learning opportunities for students with clear pathways that empower every student towards life-long learning. The students are at the centre of our work and like you, we want the very best for them. We want to see them engaged in learning, to have them experience success in all areas of learning and to discover that learning takes place not just in the four walls of the classroom. This prospectus gives you information about all the opportunities on offer at Rangiora High School which can be further explored on the school website. We welcome you and look forward to working together to make your child’s secondary schooling experience the best it can be.
