Universal College of Learning (UCOL) is a public Institute of Technology and Polytechnic (ITP) in New Zealand, with a history dating back to 1892 and deep regional roots in vocational and applied education.   • English

    New Zealand Certificate in English Language (Level 4) (Academic) The New Zealand Certificate in English Language (Level 4) (Academic) will provide learners with the language skills needed to communicate independently and effectively in familiar and some less familiar situations with fluency and flexibility in everyday/social/community, workplace and/or academic English language contexts. This qualification is at a level comparable to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) B2. This programme uses blended delivery – combining in person and online learning. This programme runs for 19 weeks each year, including 2 holiday weeks. Per week, your learning will include approximately: Class Time 20 hrs Lectures, tutorials and/or online recordings, practicals and builds, timetable set by your lecturer. Study Time 14 hrs Study in your own time.
