Practical advice for international applicants

  1. Check NZQA status: Confirm the specific programme’s NZQA status and level on ICA’s site or NZQA registry before applying.

  2. Confirm delivery mode & timetable: Some practical programmes require on-campus attendance; get course timetables and mode in writing from admissions.

  3. Scholarships & fees: Ask ICA admissions for current international fees, scholarship availability and conditional terms (many scholarships are for students paying international fees).

  4. Visa & living: Use the official NZ immigration website and ICA’s “Studying in New Zealand” guidance pages to plan visas, health insurance and living costs.
